Booking conditions
Here you will find Terms and conditions for reservation at Pärnätupa.
SCOPE AND SPECIFIC CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions apply to individual accommodation bookings by individuals
unless a specific agreement has been drawn up and the terms and conditions of the price
product to be reserved do not specify otherwise.
The hotel is entitled to use special terms and conditions that differ from these terms and
conditions.
The hotel reserves the right to change prices if they are based on changes in value added tac
or other legislation or public charges imposed by the authorities after a confirmed reservation
or during any contractual period agreed with the customer. This will be notified to the
customer separately.
RESERVATION AND CONFIRMATION
A reservation is considered binding when it is confirmed, and you have received the
reservation number. You can receive it orally, in writing or through our booking system. When
making the reservation, you must provide your name, contact information, arrival and
departure time, and payment method. Providing an email address is important in order to
receive a booking confirmation.
Room reservation can only be made by a person over the age of 18. If you book a room for a
minor, you are responsible for that person, whether you stay with the minor in the same room
or not. The completed certificate must be sent to the hotel by e-mail no later than three days
before arrival. Before check-in, the hotel will contact a guardian to confirm the
accommodation. For security reasons, only employees and the checked-in guests have
access to hotel rooms and other reserved facilities.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE (CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT)
The check-in is usually by 6pm (18.00) on the day of arrival. Exceptions to the arrival time
must be notified within 1 to 2 hours to the contact person no later than 24 hours before the
arrival date.
Check-out must be completed by 12pm (12.00) on the day of the departure unless otherwise
agreed.
BOOKING CONDITIONS
If the guest arrives in accordance with the agreed arrival times, but the booked room is not
available, the hotel must, at additional cost, help the guest to book the closest
accommodation of the same standard possible.
CANCELLATION AND NON-ARRIVAL
The cancellation terms depend on the price agreed at the time of booking. Read the detailed
price information carefully. Unless otherwise agreed upon at the time of booking or if other
conditions apply to the selected price, cancellation is possible until 1pm (13.00) local time on
the day of the arrival. If you do not arrive or have not cancelled your reservation in advance, or
if you cancel your reservation after 1pm (13.00) local time, you will be charged for a one-night
stay. If the hotel has incurred special expenses due to your reservation, you will also have to
reimburse them.
EARLY DEPARTURE AND ACCOMMODATION FOR UNDEFINED
TIME
If you have booked a room for a certain period, but leave the hotel earlier, this may cause a
change in price. Contact the hotel and let them know the time of your departure.
If you stay at the hotel indefinitely and extend your stay one night at a time, you must notify the
hotel of your departure by 6pm (18.00) the day before departure. Otherwise, you will have to
pay for an extra night. If the hotel does not have rooms available, the hotel will notify you no
later than 18pm (18.00) on the day before you have to leave the hotel.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE HOTEL AND YOUR SPECIAL
REQUESTS
If the hotel is unable to provide you with a room as agreed, you are entitled to an equivalent of
a better room at no additional charge for that or an equivalent hotel. Notify the hotel staff of
any special requests at the time of your reservation so the hotel can be prepared for your stay.
Our hotel rooms are smoke-free. If guests violate the smoking ban, the hotel has the right to
require the guest to pay the costs of smoking. If you wish to stay with your pet, please inform
the hotel at the time of booking.
PAYMENT
Pärnätupa accepts the most common payment cards. However, the hotel is not obligated to
accept foreign currency, vouchers, cheques or payment cards unless the hotel itself has
offered to do so.
The payment is charged in principle at check-in.
ACCESS TO THE HOTEL
The hotel is accessed through a door at the end of the building with a code received at the
time of booking. The door of the apartment opens with the same code.
BEHAVIOUR IN ACCOMMODATION
Good manners and rules of procedure are followed in the hotel. Violation of these rules may
result in immediate removal from the hotel. However, accommodation and the price of
additional services ordered must be paid, and no refund of the payment already made can be
claimed.
There are no common areas in the hotel unless otherwise agreed.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE
The customer is responsible for any damage (such as smoking in the room) they or their
guests or pets cause to the room or other facilities of the hotel, the furniture or equipment,
and other customers of the hotel or their property.
Responsibility for damage is determined in accordance with the general principles of
damages.
STORAGE OF VALUED GOODS AND LUGGAGE IN THE HOTEL
ROOM
Valuables can usually be stored in the hotel safe. Do not leave your valuables or luggage
unattended in the lobby at the chech-in or check-out, at breakfast or while waiting for a taxi.
For security reasons, the hotel is not obligated to store highly valuable items or items that
might compromise the safety of hotel staff or guests. The hotel is not fully responsible for
items you keep in your room or luggage room.
The hotel is not responsible for damage to or loss of the vehicle or property inside of the
vehicle parked on the parking lot. The hotel must state clearly enough in the parking lot that it
is not a controlled area, and the hotel is not responsible for the customer’s property there.
YOUR OWN SAFETY
Always find out where the emergency exits, alarm buttons, and fire extinguishers are located.
Read the instructions on your hotel room door.
